Write for us
We welcome thoughtful proposals about the places, objects, rituals and memories that surround filmgoing. Send a pitch through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to understand the idea and its shape.
What suits the publication
Strong contributions take a distinct angle on film culture beyond plot summary or a routine review. Consider a cinema custom, an overlooked film object, a change in the way people encounter screenings, or a close observation that opens a broader question. Evergreen ideas are especially welcome.
A useful pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the central point, why it may interest our readers and how you would develop it. Mention the kind of material the piece would rely on and any important limits or uncertainties. A concise outline is more useful than a finished article sent without context.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then include your proposal in the message. Please do not present invented experience or unsupported claims as fact. Sending a pitch does not guarantee publication; any further terms can be discussed if we wish to proceed.
